Background
Self-trained lifelong professional skateboarder, Enrico Hufana. After many years of nurturing his passion, developing superior skills, and receiving numerous accolades, it is time for Enrico to grow his brand Little Ripper Skateboarding. During the pandemic, Enrico spent countless hours at the skate parks with his then 4 year old son, Rue. With all eyes on the father/son duo, the demand from parents to have Enrico teach their children how to skateboard was inevitable and effortless. Enrico, being the self-made entrepreneur he is, knew that he had to strike while the iron was hot and started Little Ripper Skateboarding.
Due to his rapid success, recognition, and reputation of being a most approachable instructor and mentor, Hufana is now compelled to deliver LRS at a larger scale to his clients. His strong desire to break down barriers is what motivates and inspires him to go to the next level, and share this higher excellence of learning and loving the sport of skateboarding with Chicago children. His training, celebrated reviews, devoted fans and high demand come together with the vision for a relevant skateboard school that warrants a solid foundation for this venture.
Culture & Ethos

It is apparent that this is unique to previous traditional skateboarding settings, at least in Chicago. From the initial door opening, Little Ripper Skateboarding has instilled the value of diversity. These unprecedented times have only taught them the importance of influencing tomorrow’s adults an understanding of equality. Gender, racial, and economic barriers should be acknowledged and noted in order to lift one another up in solidarity.
One foot into Rippers Studio will immediately expose joy, commitment, camaraderie in friends and family alike, an oasis for some from their personal lives. The confidence in each of the students starts with solid mentorship and trust from their instructors. Once established, skateboarding begins. Many times quickly developing into little rippers, who then carry the torch and lead by example, providing support to the next beginner. School partnerships, Summer camps and city explorations contribute to quality time and discipline, promoting social and inner awareness, all the while nourishing the integrity and professionalism within the Little Ripper Skateboarding community.
